About Additive Drives
The Additive Drives team:
Philipp Arnold, Lasse Berling, Dr. Jakob Jung, Axel Helm
a great idea
We are a team of engineers, scientists, project managers, and sales representatives. Our team has been working in the fields of additive manufacturing and electric motor development for over ten years. We combine specialist knowledge with market experience from the mobility & automotive, industrial and racing sectors to provide you with an optimal solution.
Chief Financial Officer
With his qualification as industrial engineer, Philipp is the economic head of the team. As an experienced product manager in the automotive industry, he is now responsible for market launch and the acquisition of customers and partners. He is a sociable and detailed young professional. A real team player with a lot of energy! Outside of work, this Upper Franconian spends time scaling up or crossing the mountains on a mountain bike, skis, or on foot.
Head of Product Development
Lasse is responsible for realizing product development and simulation processes. With his experience in additive manufacturing and racing, he creates optimal solutions for every application. Lasse is invested in continuing to develop, improve and optimize technical systems, which he was doing as head and member of the Formula Student racing team at TU Freiberg. He heads to nature to seek balance, and you can find him fly fishing on the rivers and streams of the Ore Mountains.
Dr. Jakob Jung
With a solid R&D background, Jakob is your link to the electric motor. Most recently active in the automotive industry, he knows all about the sophistication of electric motor design. Requirements, target parameters, suitable winding—no problem. In additive manufacturing, Jakob knows how to overcome impatience: getting to work right away when the simulation has been completed. As executive director, he powers the production process, driving your application to its destination much like an electric motor would.
Axel is our expert for manufacturing processes and industrialization. He has been developing and optimizing additive manufacturing processes since he became interested in this field when studying. His novel type of copper processing creates the basis for our innovations. The friendly Dresdner is the driving force behind Additive Drives and develops the ideas for our future products. When he is not working on his log cabin, you might meet Axel while hiking in Saxon Switzerland.
