Additive Drives was born out of a desire to take electric motors to the next level and simplify the development of new, more efficient and powerful electric motors. Together with manufacturing technology expert Axel Helm, motor developers Philipp Arnold and Dr Jakob Jung founded Additive Drives.

Based in Dresden, Germany, the team of almost 70 develops the world’s most innovative electric motors. Additive Drives takes the future of electric drives to a new level by using the latest technologies and consistently developing them further.

Together with strong partners from all over the world, forward-looking solutions are found that make electrification possible in aviation, for example. Customers include renowned car manufacturers, well-known aviation companies and global players in the robotics sector.
