For several years now, KfW has been awarding prizes to young companies whose forward-looking ideas stand for a high degree of innovation, social responsibility or environmental awareness. In 2023, Additive Drives is delighted to receive the KfW Award Gründen for the federal state of Saxony. The award was presented by the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection Robert Habeck.
Additive Drives is accelerating the development of electric motors and the transition to sustainable and clean mobility. Our mission is to make electrification more efficient, easier and more sustainable, which means not only offering the shortest prototype delivery times, but also enabling unprecedented efficiencies and power densities as part of the value proposition.
Developing motors with 98% efficiency can save hundreds of thousands of tonnes of CO2 emissions every year, and producing new types of electric motors in the shortest possible time saves customers high development costs. Our pioneering and patented technologies are enabling electric motors to be used in new applications such as aerospace, and unprecedented levels of efficiency are enabling significant energy savings, particularly in industry or in heat pumps. Electrification is moving the world. We make it easy!
Co-founder Philipp Arnold: “We are delighted about the award from KfW. Electrification is an important social issue and we are not only concerned with tomorrow’s mobility, but with the future of electric drives: simpler, better, more sustainable!”
